Week 1 - Neuromuscular Balance Workshop Details: Together we will explore balance challenges, sensory awareness practices, and environmental navigation strategies. We’ll learn about the key components of balance including proprioception, vision, and the vestibular system and gently challenge our righting reactions in a supportive, progressive way. Using our bodies and simple props, we’ll build coordination, control, and adaptability. Movements are adaptable for many bodies and abilities, with an emphasis on awareness, nervous system integration, and confidence-building. Students will leave with practical techniques they can continue at home to support balance, resilience, and overall movement quality

Week 2 - Nervous System Regulation Workshop Details: Together we will explore practices that support internal balance through nervous system regulation, helping you build a greater sense of steadfastness, resilience, and ease. We’ll learn some of how the nervous system responds to stress and how to work with it using breath, gentle movement, and awareness-based techniques. With an emphasis on interoception, self-awareness, and sustainable support, students will leave with practical tools they can use in daily life to navigate stress, restore balance, and feel more at home in their bodies.

This 3-hour mini retreat is an opportunity to integrate and embody the practices from our workshop series in a more spacious, supported setting.
This retreat is also a good opportunity for those who haven’t attend the workshops and want to enjoy an afternoon of balanced being and fostering self care and community care. Together we’ll begin with intention setting, creating space to reflect on what you’d like to cultivate or carry forward. We’ll move through a guided movement practice designed to connect you with strength, balance, and ease. We will share a nourishing vegetarian lunch, engage in a reflective activity, and end with a restorative yoga practice to support deep relaxation and nervous system regulation. Throughout our time together, there will be an emphasis on both external and internal balance.
